We want to challenge ourselves and do our best: Billiat

Warriors star Khama Billiat says Kaizer Chiefs are aiming to their best in the CAF Champions League as a way of testing themselves against Africa’s finest.

Gavin Hunt’s men have not had the best of starts to life under the new coach, who has overseen only one victory in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership.

Up next for them is a date with Cameroonian side PWD Bemenda in the preliminary round of the Champions League and the Zimbabwe international says the aim is to do the best.

“A lot of experience will be able to help the club in terms of managing the game, in terms of motivating the guys to do the right things that a Champions League game needs and we have good players. Everyone is looking good and looking forward to the competition, we want to challenge ourselves and do the best and see how far we can (go),” he told the media.

“It is very important because it brings a lot of confidence to the guys, a lot of good energy coming in to the domestic competitions as well, it is something that means a lot and even for me as an individual,” added Billiat.
