Admiral Muskwe scores on his first start at Luton

Admiral Muskwe scored his first goal for Luton Town on Tuesday night against Stevenage in the second round of the EFL Cup.

The Zimbabwean striker was making his first start in a competitive match since his arrival at the club last month on a a permanent transfer from Leicester City.

He found the back of the net on the 40th-minute with a header from a close range to bring the game to level at 2-2 going into the break.

However, the goal only helped the team to force the game into a penalty shootout which Luton lost 3-0 to bow out of the competition.

Muskwe’s other appearance for the club was from the bench after featuring for the final quarter-hour of the English Championship season opener versus Peterborough last weekend.

The league game marked his competitive debut for the club.
