Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Dele Alli from Tottenham on a two-and-a-half-year contract until the end of June 2024.


Liverpool has failed to complete the deal to sign Fabio Carvalho from Fulham. The Reds ran out of time.


Manchester United will not release Jesse Lingard despite the winger’s effort to push for an exit. He was wanted by West Ham and Newcastle.


Barcelona have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a free transfer. He has passed his medical.


Islam Slimani has been announced by Sporting as new signing on a contract until June 2023. He joins the club from Lyon.


Reinildo Mandava has signed  for Atletico Madrid from Lille. The Mozambican signed a contract until June 2025.

Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey has completed his move to Rangers from Juventus on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s proposed loan move to Barcelona from Arsenal is in major doubt after talks broke down over the financial part of the deal. Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal have made clear to the striker that they’ve no intention to collaborate or pay part of his salary for Barça.


Valencia have confirmed the signing of Bryan Gil on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.


Brighton striker Lorent Tolaj will spend the rest of the season on loan with Cambridge United.


Rodrigo Bentancur has joined Tottenham on a permanent deal from Juventus who will receive €19m plus €6m add ons. Dejan Kulusevski also noves to Spurs from Juve but on a loan.

Everton have confirmed Frank Lampard as the club’s new manager. Lampard had been without a club since he was fired by Chelsea in January 2021. He returns to the dugout after the Toffees offered him a vacant managerial position to replace Rafael Benitez.

Christian Eriksen has completed his return to the English Premier League after signing a six-month contract with Brentford with option to extend until June 2023. Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s European Championship game against Finland on June 12 and has an ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) fitted to his heart.
