84′ Free kick to Zim, Munetsi sends it and Lunga fails to connect and misses his chance from an unmissable position.

83′ Teenage Hadebe with a great chance to score but shoots over in front of an open goal.

47′ Iheanacho tries to curl from a distance but his effort goes wide.

Zimbabwe have been the dominant side all round and did well to control the game until the half time.

Walter Musona’s 26th minute free kick gave the hosts the lead.

The goal clearly unsettled the Super Eagles and they never showed any intent to recover.

43′ Marvelous Nakamba is down injured and goes out to receive medical attention.

41′ Warriors are just play beautiful football and have been the better side by a distance.

37′ Zimbabwe’s ball management is great and are doing well to restrict Nigeria from dangerous positions.

33′ Nigeria being restricted to their half with Zimbabwe continuing to dominate the pace.

31′ Free kick to Zim just outside the box following a foul on Munetsi. Zemura takes it into the box but his ball is cleared.

29′ Nigeria clearly unsettled by the goal. The Super Eagles can’t even stitch passes.

27′ Goal!!! Musona with an unreal goal to put Zim ahead. The winger hits from a free-kick some 30 yards out to reach the top corner.

23′ Zimbabwe dominating the pace in the last few minutes.

18′ Kadewere receives the ball before beating his marker inside the space. He has a lot of space ahead but opts to square the ball to Dube, who is already mispositioned. Wasted opportunity

16′ The corner kick comes but it’s poor executed as it goes out of play.

14′ Zimbabwe with a patient build up as they try to penetrate Nigeria’s backline. They fail an a quick counter is launched with Tella running to cross a dangerous ball. Takwara is there to head away the dangerous and concedes a corner kick.

13′ Munetsi commits a free kick on the centre. The ball is quickly played and reaches the Warriors’ box but they clear the danger.

10′ Still goalless after the opening ten minutes. Play mostly concentrated on the midfield.

5′  A slow start to the game as both sides are yet to create meaningful chances.

3′ Kadewere chases a through ball but it’s too heavy and the keeper has it covered. He collects the ball.
