Brendan Galloway has undergone surgery after suffering a season-ending leg injury over a week ago.
Galloway picked the injury in the closing stages of Plymouth Argyle’s 1-1 draw against Oxford United at Home Park.
Posting on Instagram after the operation, the Warriors international said:
“Gutted with the injury. Surgery went well. Going to do everything to come back better and stronger for this football club. ”
The latest setback comes just a month after Galloway recovered from an ankle injury that kept him out of action for two months.
The defender picked the injury while on international duty with the Warriors in October.
