Dynamos have suspended head coach Genesis Mangombe with immediate effect pending investigations into a number of allegations raised against him by players and members of the club’s executive committee.

According to a suspension letter seen by Soccer24, the club’s board resolved to relieve Mangombe of his duties to allow investigations to proceed without interference.

Among the allegations outlined in the letter are claims of insubordination and accusations that players were allegedly being forced to participate in traditional rituals before matches.

The suspension comes just months after Mangombe rejoined the Glamour Boys at the start of the season. His future at the club now remains uncertain, with the coach having recently been linked with a return to Triangle United.

Dynamos are yet to issue a public statement on the matter.
