Zimbabwe are through to the final of the 2018 COSAFA U20 Championship for the first time in eleven years. The Young Warriors set a date with South Africa after beating Zambia 1-2 in a semifinal clash played on Tuesday afternoon. Zimbabwe U20 Women soccer team has progressed to the semi-finals of the 2018 African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 games underway in Gaborone, Botswana. The girls finished as Group A runners-up with six points, one behind Botswana. They beat Malawi 1-0 on Tuesday to seal the qualification, thanks to a goal by Maudy Mafuruse in the 23rd minute. Five English Premier League sides have joined the race to sign Zimbabwe international Macauley Bonne, according to The Sun, a UK newspaper.
