Rosemary Mugadza fired as Mighty Warriors coach

ZIFA has fired long serving Mighty Warriors Head Coach Rosemary Mugadza and his entire technical team.

The announcement was confirmed in the association’s official website, “Head coach Rosemary Mugadza, assistant coach Mebelo Njekwa, goalkeepers coach Ndega Matsika and kit manager Fungai Nyamutukwa are no longer part of the senior women technical set up.”

Acording to ZIFA the changes are part of the administration structural review programme.

Shadreck Mlauzi takes over as head coach whilst former Mighty Warriors player Sithethelelwe ‘Kwinji 15’ Sibanda is one of the Assistant coaches.

Only team manager Charity Muzviti retained her position as team manager.

The new team’s immediate mandate is coming up with a squad to face Cameroon in the All Africa Games qualifiers.
