CAPS United moved to the top of the Castle Lager Premiership with a 1-0 win over Border Strikers. CAPS United were a bit wasteful in the first half but veteran striker Leonard Tsipa came from the bench to score from a free kick early in the second half to hand the home side the maximum points.

CAPS United could have added more goals as they dominated the game but Chungwa, Nhive wasted chances to add to the score line. The result puts CAPS United on top of the standings with a better goal difference than FC Platinum.

At Barbourfields Stadium Highlanders needed a Knox Mutizwa goal to go past Chapungu 1-0. Mutizwa converted from the penalty spot after Chapungu captain Collen Kwaramba had deliberately tipped the ball over the bar with his hands. Kwaramba was red carded for the incident.

At the Colliery Dynamos continued to struggle in front of goal and with results with a goalless draw against Hwange. The result means Paulo Silva has only managed 4 points after being given an ultimatum of getting nine points in three games. Dynamos had Rodreck Mutuma missing after an apparent injury and started with Nasama and Nyakasaka upfront.

At Gibbo Stadium Triangle and ZPC Kariba played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Triangle took the lead early through Simba Makoni 3rd minute goal but Limited Chikafa equalised.

Lincolin Zvasiya then gave ZPC Kariba the lead but Triangle were on level terms minutes later after converting a penalty after Thomas Sweswe had handled.
