EPL: Man Utd beat Liverpool, Arsenal & Man City win, Chelsea lose

A late strike from Kelechi Iheanacho saw Manchester City record a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Selhurst Park.

In an entertaining game laden with chances but seemingly set to finish as a draw, the 18-year-old Nigerian pounced on Samir Nasri’s saved effort to rifle home in the 90th minute.

The result sees Manuel Pellegrini’s side cement their grasp on first place in the Premier League table with five wins out of five, while the Eagles slip to third.

Steven Naismith scored a hat-trick to give Everton a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.

The striker came off the bench early on following an injury to Muhamed Besic, scoring twice in the first half before adding his third late on.

Nemanja Matic scored shortly before half time to give Chelsea some hope, but they were unable to get back on level terms.

Arsenal moved up to third in the Premier League table by recording a 2-0 victory over Stoke Cityn.

Alexis Sanchez saw a header saved by Jack Butland, before the Chilean fired a strike onto the post, as the Gunners made a strong start.

Arsenal finally made the breakthrough in the 31st minute when Theo Walcott latched onto Mesut Ozil’s pass and clipped a shot beyond the keeper.

Stoke rarely threatened and Olivier Giroud grabbed a second in the closing stages with a header from Santi Cazorla’s free kick to make the points.

Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Liverpool 3-1 at Old Trafford this evening.
