Mangwiro left frustrated after seing his team draw against Highlanders

Harare City head coach Taurayi Mangwiro was left a frustrated man after seeing his team draw 1-1 against Highlanders at Babourfields Stadium.

Martin Vengesayi opened the scoring for Harare City but Bosso latest acquisition Kasimero Chimbadzwa found the equalizer.

Mangwiro felt his team could and should have buried the game and walked away with all set of 3 points.

Quoted by Harare City official facebook page; Mangwiro who is under pressure for results at the expensively assembled Harare City side says he was disappointed to see his team miss pin point chances.

“We did not deserve this result. Our boys controlled the match and the field so much that we needed to have wrapped the match by three or four goals. We missed glorious chances, three point blank one on one situations.

“Surely if we can’t bury chances like that, what should a coach do. I am happy with the display by the players but could have been happier with three points, which our efforts deserve. Anyway we focus our attention to the next clash against Chapungu at Rufaro stadium on Friday.

“This one is now in the past. But after creating so many chances, we certainly deserved to win and Highlanders coach admitted he was lucky to finish the match equal,” said Mangwiro.
