Philippe Coutinho scored a brilliant hat-trick – his first ever for his national team – as Brazil crushed Haiti 7-1 in Orlando to move top of Group B, and send the Haitians packing after two straight losses.

Brazil, who had failed to sparkle in their opening game against Ecuador, were far too strong for Haiti, and in Liverpool forward Coutinho possessed the game’s outstanding player. Dunga’s team move ahead of Ecuador and Peru, who play later on Wednesday evening. Brazil’s 7-1 victory represented the biggest win of Copa América so far.
