Striker Tendai Ndoro continued with his fine goal scoring form with a goal for his side’s 2-1 win over Highlands Park in the Telkom Knockout Cup.
Pirates went ahead in the 39th minute courtesy of an own goal by Augustine Mbara. Tendai Ndoro doubled the lead in the second half tapping home from close range beating fellow compatriot Tapuwa Kapini in goals.
Highlands were able to pull one back but was not enough as Pirates proceeded to the Semis.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns were dumped out of the Telkom Cup in a penalty shootout after the match ended 0-0 in regulation time.
Supersport’s Onismor Bhasera was controversially sent off after a second bookable offence in the second half. Khama Billiat and Co. threatened to break the deadloack but Supersport defence remained resolute
