Zimbabwe International Costa Nhamoinesu’s dance in the EUROPA league came to an agonising end as the player was red carded in his side’s 1-1 draw with Russian side Rostov.

Needing to overturn a 4-0 first leg defeat, Sparta Praha employed a rather physical match at home.

Nhamoinesu was sent off in the 67th minute for a second bookable offence with his side already trailing by Dmitry Poloz first half goal.

Vyacheslav Karavaev did manage to equalise for Sparta with 5 minutes left of play, but that was not enough as the Czech side ended 5-1 aggregate losers in the round of 32.
