Kudakwashe Mahachi scored a late winner to hand Golden Arrows a 2-1 win against Tapuwa Kapini’s Highlands Park.

It was former Highlanders striker Knox Mutizwa who opened the scoring in the 28th minute beating Tapuwa Kapini from close range.

Mutizwa missed a golden opportunity to double the lead 10 minutes later when he went face to face with Tapuwa Kapuwa but shot over the bar.

Highlands Park found the equalizer with 9 minutes to full time with Surprise Moriri making no mistake from the penalty spot.

It was Kuda Mahachi who stole the show on the stroke of fulltime scoring a late winner after beating two markers.

The win takes Golden Arrows to 6th position in the latest ABSA Premiership log standings.
