Mamelodi Sundowns moved to the top of the ABSA Premiership after recording an impressive 2-0 win over Golden Arrows.

Zimbabwean International Kuda Mahachi playing against his former team Sundowns put up a good show but was guilty of missing good chances.

Mahachi failed to convert early in the match when set face to face with just Onyango to beat.

Sundowns broke the deadlock in the 57th minute with Khama Billiat setting up his skipper Hlompho Kekana who converted with a low shot 20 yards out.

Motjeka Madisha headed home Teko Modise’s corner at the near post with 20 minutes left of play sealing off the match.

Onyango scooped the man of the match award for several stops keeping Sundowns in the game.
