COSAFA U17: Zimbabwe stuned by hosts, Malawi beat Botswana

Action in group B of the COSAFA tournament started with a surprise loss for Zimbabwe going down 1-0 agains the hosts Mauritius.

Despite dorminating the game for long periods, the Moses Chunga coached side succumbed to a 22nd minute strike by Louis Philibert who netted a Brilliant free-kick.

Zimbabwe tried in vain to get back into the match and will now their work cut out in the remaining group fixtures against Malawi and Botswana.

In the other group match, Malawi beat Botswana by 2 goals to nil from goals in either of the halves from Maonga in the 15th and Willard in the 59th.

Action continues in group B with tournament favorites Zambia and South Africa locking horns while Mozambique and Madagascar lock horns in the other match.
