It was the end of the road for Marvelous Nakamba last night as his Belgian side Club Brugge lost 3-0 away to Greek side AEK Athens bowing out of the EUROPA League.

Elsewhere, Gylfi Sigurdsson marked his first Everton start with a stunning 50-yard strike as Ronald Koeman’s side reached the Europa League group stage at the expense of Hajduk Split after a 1-1 draw.Everton Lead 2-0 from the first leg.
