Shabanie Mine have squashed rumors that Taku Shariwa has been dismissed by the club.

The club announced that Shariwa remains the Technical Director while coach Takesure Chiragwi who last week threteaned to quit will remain at the helm as they play Tsholotsho FC in a league encounter on Sunday at Dulivhadzimu Stadium.

Shabanie who are coming from a string of poor results will be desperate to win against a rejuvinated Tsholotsho smarting away from a 1 nil win over Bulawayo giants Highlanders.

Shabanie will miss the services of defender William Mapfumo who is on PSL suspension for accumulating three yellow cards. They will however have enough cover in Zvenyika Makonese,Nyasha Mpofu,Denzel Taderera and Benjamin Mkundu.

The Chinda boys will also be boosted by the availability of Admire Dzumbunu who was out on suspension last week while Farai Mupasiri who was limping last week is available for selection.
