After enduring a long road back from injury, Defender Costa Nhamoinesu is back on the pitch for his Czech Republic side Sparta Praha.
Nhamoinesu’s 2016/17 campaign came to an early end after suffering a nasty ankle injury in February. He was injured in his team’s 3-1 league match defeat to Jablonec on February 26.
But the 31 year-old defender has featured in the last two league matches for Sparta Prague – so far in last week’s 1 nil home win against Slovácko and yesterday’s 2-0 loss to Zbrojovka Brno following his recovery.
The defender played the entire match against Brno but was unfortunate to be on the losing side.
Sparta Prague sit on position five with 8 points from five matches played so far. They have already been eliminated from The EUROPA League.
