Mamelodi Sundowns striker Cuthbert Malajila is set to stay at the club after being linked with a move away at the end of the 2016/17 season.
The Zimbabwean returned to Sundowns after spending a year on loan to Bidvest Wits and is reportedly training with the first team.
Head coach Pitso Mosimane spoke of how thin his squad is so he will not allow players on loan to move to other clubs , in case there are injuries or suspensions.
Other players who will return to the club from loan are Asavela Mbekile and Mogakolodi Ngele.
With Sundowns involved in the Champions League, Malajila could get some game-time in the domestic matches as Mosimane needs to keep his squad fresh.
The 31 year old was part of the Bidvest squad which won the league in the previous campaign.
