Ndabambi, Kadyambanje apply for Highlanders’ Assistant coach position

Former ZPC Kariba coach Patson Ndabambi, little known Dalubuhle Bhebhe and former Highlanders player Tobias Mudyambanje are reportedly among the coaches that have applied for the vacant Bosso’s assistant coach post.

Impeccable sources confided with Soccer 24 that the trio is among the job seeking lot at the troubled Bulawayo giants.
The post of assistant coach at Bosso fell vacant last Tuesday following the resignation of Amini Soma Phiri.

Those details will be disclosed to the person we engage, the deadline for submission is Friday, as soon as we have gone through the process, we want to engage an assistant coach as soon as possible,’’ said Ndlovu.

When Soma-Phiri quit the post last Tuesday, a day after head coach Erol Akbay had accused him of sabotaging him, former Highlanders left back Melusi “Mabaleka” Sibanda was brought to the first team. With Zifa insisting that PSL coaches and their assistant must be holders of Caf A, Bosso have been forced to look for a substantive replacement for Soma-Phiri since Sibanda does not possess that qualification.

“The deadline of submission is Friday and we have had a few CVs coming through. I must also mention that we will be soon hunting for head coach as we are aware that Erol Akbay will not be renewing his contract. However, the hiring of our head coach will need a lot of work. Its too sensetive consider that BancABC has already indicated that they will not be us next season. Issues to do with our new potential sponsors will determine who will be coming in,” said Bosso chief executive officer Nhlangla Dube.
