It’s that time of the season when two of the country’s biggest teams go against each in battle that separates men from boys, it is the Battle of Zimbabwe.
Dynamos will host Highlanders today in a match that is expected to bring excitement, drama and epic moments. The second installment of the clash comes a week after the Harare derby and the euphoria is still high within the Blue and White faithfuls.
Dynamos have gone for six matches without dropping points and completing a double over their bitter rivals today will just bring another smile to the Dembare fans.
With Christian Epoupa on top of his game, the Cameroonian will revoke memories of that abandoned match at Barbourfields when he scored a controversial goal which others still believe it was an offside.
The giant forward was singled as the biggest threat by Bosso coach Erol Akbay. Howwever, though Epoupa has been outstanding, the likes of Ocean Mushure, Denver Mukamba and Quality Kangadzi are some of the players which still pose danger to the Bulawayo giants.
Meanwhile, for the visitors, it’s four matches without picking up a point. Things are not going according to the plan as they have conceded seven goals in their last five outings. To make matters worst, they have never scored in those games.
It is not a secrete that a victory for them will not come easy.
Tshilamoya managed a double last season over the Glamour Boys. This was their first time in a decade to win a league match against their rivals.
Nonetheless it still remains unknown where pendulum will swing as both teams are confident to come out with a convincing result.
Elsewhere CAPS United will be in action away when they play away to Bantu Rovers. while Triangle and Hwange will clash at Gibbo.
