Ndiraya Still Not Satisfied

Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderai Ndiraya is still not satisfied despite his side beating Harare City 2-1 over the weekend as he feels the remaining fixtures needs a lot of character and self determination from the players.

Ndiraya, who lamented misplaced priorities by his players in the defeat to Shabanie Mine the previous week, was again not amused by his team’s performance despite Quadr Amin and Tichaona Mabvura scoring to give them a 2-1 victory over the Sunshine Boys.

” I am happy with the result but not happy with the performance. Although we won, we didn’t do much to warrant the win because we allowed Harare City to come back in the second half which could have changed the outcome of the match,” said Ndiraya.

The Ngezi Platinum coach however felt that his charges were under pressure after their shocking away defeat to struggling Shabanie Mine at Maglas stadium.

” The players were under pressure from the stakeholders because they were not happy with the defeat to lowly Shabanie Mine. We needed to win at all costs at home and now there is need to work even harder in the next away trip to ZPC Kariba. At this stage of the season, we need to be cautious and avoid conceding like we have been doing in the past matches,” added Ndiraya.

Ngezi Platinum who are chasing the title have an unconvincing record playing away. They lost their last three away fixtures.
