Dynamos release statement on revenue grossed during Battle of Zim

Dynamos have released a statement on the revenue grossed during the game against Highlanders on Sunday.

The club received $59,340 from a total of 10,691 tickets sold on the day.

A decrease of 1.5% in ticket sales was recorded compared to the tickets which were sold during the same match in year 2016.

The statement reads:

The Club grossed $59,340 on our game against Highlanders FC on Sunday the 10th of September 2017. A total of 10,691 tickets were sold, compared to 10,851 tickets which were sold the same match in year 2016.
Out of the $59,340 gross raised, the club paid the following statutory obligations;
15% City of Harare
10% PSL
6% SRC
$1700 Zimbabwe Republic Police
$1100 match officials
4% match logistics which includes cashiers, Private Security Hire and Ambulance Hire services among other adminstrative costs.

The club also wishes to apologize to the fans who were unable to gain stadium access due to the poor network sytem which was heavily congested. Frantic efforts are being made in close collaboration with PSL and Econet to boost the network system during our matches at Rufaro Stadium.

Lastly, the Club wishes to express its gratitude to the multitudes of supporters who thronged the stadium for the Highlanders game. We encourage our supporters to come in their numbers and support the boys in our fixture against caps on Sunday.
