Bulawayo football giants, Highlanders, have been reportedly invited to take part in invitational match in neighbouring Botswana where the city of Francistown will be celebrating 120 years on Saturday.
“We were invited to take part in an invitational match. Bosso Club officials were in Botswana yesterday where they attended a press conference with regards to the celebratory match. Most probably a second string side will be sent to Botswana as the local Premiership is currently on full swing,” said a Bosso insider.
Bosso chief executive officer, Nhlanhla Dube was not reachable for a comment.
On Sunday, Highlanders are set to face Black Rhinos at Barbourfields Stadium.
