AmaZulu midfielder Ovidy Karuru says they are aiming to make history by defeating Cape Town City on Friday in their first ever competitive meeting.
The Zimbabwean international returned from injury a few weeks ago and is confident his team will win the match.
Speaking on the club’s website, he said they are aware of how their opponents play.
“I know it is the first time we are playing against Cape Town City,” Karuru said.
“But we have seen their previous games and they are a very good team. You can’t take that away from them.
“However, they have their weaknesses. They are conceding goals. So, we need to work on our finishing. We have to go there fully prepared. Since it’s our first meeting, we need to make history by winning the game,” Karuru concluded.
