Nakamba’s Club Brugge convincingly beat KV Mechelen 0-3 away from home to extend their lead at the top of the Belgian Pro League.

On the back of consecutive league victories Ivan Leko’s men were thoroughly ruthless in attack with the opponent resorting to rough challenges which earned them two red cards in the process.

Nakamba became a victim of the nasty tackles and had to be substituted in the 58th minute.

A Weser and Wesley penalty kick put the Brugges 0-2 ahead at halftime.

Moreover, KVM had to go on with ten after the striker’s stroke, after a stretched leg by De Witte.

In the second half Club Brugge then scored the third via Diaby and the game was killed off as a contest.

The win put them 11 points clear off second placed Sporting Charleroi.Remarkable it was Nakamba’s 18th appearance in 20 league games.
