Former Dynamos defensive midfielder Steven Alimenda has failed to make the cut at Division One’s Manica Diamonds after attending trials.

Alimenda whose official age is 29 was among the host of star players who were handed chances to impress at the cash rich club but who was ultimately sent packing after being informed he had failed to make the grade.

The technical team has assembled a 24 men team who they believe will be able to win them promotion into the Premier Soccer League. Among the seasoned campaigners is Benjamin Marere, Thembani Masuku and William Mapfumo.
