Eric Mudzingwa is set to join Bulawayo City after being offloaded by Highlanders.

Mudzingwa together with other senior players that includes Simon Munawa and Ralph Matema have been shown the exit door as new coach Madinda Ndlovu embarks on a rebuilding exercise using graduates from the developmental side.

A source at Bulawayo City says Mudzingwa who was among the longest-serving players at Bosso is one of the targets for Darlington Dodo.

“Dodo wants some experienced players to give guidance to his team, so Mudzingwa gives him that. Everything is now in place, and the player can be unveiled anytime soon,” said the source.

Interestingly, Mudzingwa is one of the players that Ndlovu promoted from the juniors during his previous stint with the club nine years ago.

Tendai Ngulube, another of the offloaded senior players is now training with Chicken Inn with the hope of impressing returning coach Joey Antipas.
