The High Flying Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderai Ndiraya insists nothing will stop them from creating history by winning the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title.
Ndiraya saw his charges rampant as the mauled visiting Bulawayo City 4-0 to maintain their unbeaten run and stay at the summit of the log after Match Day 12.
Speaking to the Sunday news Ndiraya was upbeat on the title aspirations of Ngezi Platinum.
“We have assembled a very good team this season and there is nothing that can stop us from winning the title though I feel FC Platinum can give us a challenge,” said Ndiraya.
“In all fairness it was not an easy win for us, and I am impressed with the four goals that we scored today and it is a good sign of a team which is gunning for a championship,” he added.
The Bulawayo City new coach Amini Soma Phiri also shared the same sentiments conceding that there was not much his team could do against a well-drilled team destined for championship glory.
“We played very well and playing Ngezi you know it is a well-built team and it is a championship material and there is nothing you can say about it,” said Phiri.
Ngezi who have been rampant this season got their win with goals from a brace by Terrence Dzvukamanja while Marlon Mushonga and Tichaona Mabvura scored a goal each.
The win sees them open a six point lead over second placed FC Platinum who still have a game against Dynamos today.
