Caps United Coach Happy With Team’s Performance Despite Highlanders Draw

Caps United’s coach Lloyd Chitembwe says he is pleased with his team’s performance despite their 0-0 draw against Highlanders in their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match up.

The match was played at the Barbourfields Stadium.

Chitembwe says the Highlanders team defended stoutly and they played with eleven men behind the ball for most of the game praising the youthful team.

Highlanders defended well with goal keeper Ariel Sibanda making some crucial saves and being the main difference between the teams.

Meanwhile, Lloyd Chitembwe in an Interview with the Herald, says he was happy for the draw playing away from home.

“To the neutrals both teams gave their all and you can’t fault any players. We anticipated that we were never going to have so many chances, but I’m equally satisfied with the performance of my boys and credit goes to Madinda for assembling such a fighting squad,” said Chitembwe.
