Scotish Premiership side Dundee football club has joined the race to sign Macauley Bonne.

Bonne scored 25 goals for Leyton Orient last season and is one of the hottest properties in the National League.

He has also been targeted by Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Burton Albion.

The English-born Zimbabwe international moved to Orient from Colchester last summer and still has 12 months left on his contract, so will command a fee.

Meanwhile Orient are keen to hand him a new deal but if they can’t agree an extension then they may be prepared to cash in. But they are likely to hold out in the hope of a bidding war.
