Zimbabwe and Zambia will meet in the final qualifier game of AWCON 2018, on Wednesday in Zimbabwe.
With the balanced nature of the match, the game will certainly determine, which of the two sides will be progressing to the finals to be hosted by Ghana.
Though Zimbabwe seems to have history behind them, Zambia will provide a stong challenge to Zimbabwe’s quest.
But Zimbabwe coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda believes, history also plays a role in each game because it has serious psychological impact on players.
“Our tactical approach will be a balanced approach, a good defensive structure and fluidity in attack obviously after looking at the opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.”, said Sibanda.
“Experience will definitely help and we don’t want to be negative and talk about four days [of preparation], we want to positively look at us, what we [are] capable of doing.
“There are many players we will be assessing in different camps, but that can’t be done during a single camp, so, even in this squad will assess some for future purposes.” She added.
