Dynamos have fired coach Lloyd Mutasa after a string of poor results.

Mutasa who was reinstated to the post in June failed to deliver and the team is currently battling relegation. The gaffer was shown the exit together with his technical team which included his assistant James Takaringofa and goalkeepers’ coach Zondai Nyaungwa.

Lloyd Chigove will take over on an interim basis as the Glamour Boys search for Mutasa’s replacement while Murape Murape is the assistant. The goalkeepers’ coach is Marlon Jani.

The new technical’s first assignment will be against FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Kalisto Pasuwa is heavily linked with the post. Pasuwa won four successive championships with the Glamour Boys before an unceremonious exit because of frosty relations with then-president Keni Mubaiwa.

Former midfielder Naison Muchekela, Moses Chunga and Rahman Gumbo have also been touted as potential replacements.
