Winston Mhango has joined Zambian side Kabwe Warriors, according to The Chronicle.
The midfielder went AWOL ahead of the FC Platinum’s Champions League preliminary encounter against CNaPs of Madagascar. His contract with the Zvishavane-based club expires next week.
Mhango, 31, confirmed to the newspaper from his new base in Zambia that he has signed a two-year contract with the club.
The move will see him reuniting with coach Tenant Chilumba whom he once worked with at FC Platinum and Hwange.
Meanwhile, Rodwell Chinyengetere has also left Pure Platinum Play to join Baroka FC in South Africa. The forward played his last game for the club last weekend against AS Otoho D’ Oyo in the Champions League.
