Caps United has confirmed that Phineas Bamusi has returned to the club after spending one season at Triangle United.
The midfielder moved to the Low-veld at the start of the 2018 campaign and managed to rediscover his top form which saw him selected among the eleven best players of the year.
United confirmed the news in a Facebook post on Sunday morning which partly read: “2018 Soccer Star of the year finalist Phineas Bamusi has left Triangle United and re-signed for Caps United.”
It’s reported that the 28-year-old signed a deal which will expire at the end of the 2020.
Meanwhile, Bamusi’s return is a boost to coach Lloyd Chitembwe who is seeking to assemble a squad that will challenge for honours in the next season.
