Peter Mudhuwa is likely to join Chicken Inn as his contract with Highlanders expires today.
The defender did not renew his deal and will be a free agent by midnight after spending three years with Bosso.
The Gamecocks coach Joey Antipas has of late declaring his desire to have the 25-year-old in his squad, and the move is now certainly going to happen if anything doesn’t come by.
FC Platinum who have in the past been linked with the player revealed a few days ago that they are not interested in him, leaving Chicken Inn as favourites in the chase. But they could still face a stiff competition from Ngezi Platinum Stars who are reportedly keeping tabs on the centre back.
Meanwhile, Highlanders are yet to announce new developments on Muduhwa, but a short encrypted post on Bosso TV Facebook page could have confirmed his departure.
The post, attached with a picture of the defender, reads: “It was good while it lasted Peter!”
