Esperance will play their Group B game against FC Platinum behind closed doors after the Tunisian giants were found guilty of crowd disturbance in the 2018 Champions League final vs Al Ahly.
CAF announced the development on Monday night following a decision by the Disciplinary Committee.
The match is scheduled for Friday night in Tunisia.
Esperance will also play another home match against Orlando Pirates in February in an empty stadium as part of the punishment.
