Andy Rinomhota has spoken out following his departure from Cardiff City.

Rinomhota’s contract is set to expire on June 30, 2025. He rejected a new contract offer and chose to leave the club after three years.

The Zimbabwe international’s exit was confirmed by Cardiff City over the weekend.

In a social media post addressing the news, Rinomhota said: “My time at Cardiff City has come to an end after three years filled with ups, downs, and lessons I’ll carry with me.

“It wasn’t always perfect, and there were challenges, but I’ll always be grateful for the journey.

“I leave with nothing but respect and gratitude toward the club and its fans.

“Wishing the club all the best for the future and hoping they return to where they belong.”

Rinomhota made 84 appearances for Cardiff, 36 of which came during their relegation season.
