Highlanders’ interim coach Try Ncube has revealed that they are working on replacing Mafious Chihweta, who left the club last week.
Chihweta, a key player for Bosso, departed the Bulawayo giants to join Scottland FC on a permanent transfer.
The forward had his breakthrough after signing for Highlanders in February on a three-year contract.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Ncube said: “I can’t talk about Chihweta; he’s now with another club, but we are definitely going to replace him and get results without him.”
The mid-season transfer window will close at midnight on Thursday.
