Another Senegalese football player, Alassane Diallo, has reportedly gone missing in Ghana after falling victim to a fake football trial scam.

This comes just days after the death of another 18-year-old footballer Cheikh Toure under similar circumstances.

According to Afriquesports, Diallo,  left Senegal in July 2025 to join a Ghanaian youth/football centre where he was supposed to undergo trials or a pathway to Morocco.

It is further alleged that his family,  was asked to pay £850 to secure his place in the team, but upon arrival, the organisers demanded an additional £1,200.

His last communication with family was on October 18, 2025.
