Dynamos are reportedly set to travel to Tanzania next month for a friendly match against Simba SC as part of the Tanzanian club’s annual Simba Day celebrations.
According to The Herald, the Glamour Boys have been invited to face Simba on 8 August at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, with the event also marking the hosts’ 90th anniversary.
The publication reports that Dynamos were chosen because of their status as one of Zimbabwe’s most successful clubs, with the invitation highlighting their contribution to African football.
If confirmed, the match would provide Dynamos with valuable international preparation ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, while also adding another high-profile fixture to their pre-season schedule.
Neither Dynamos nor Simba had officially announced the fixture at the time of publication.
