French top-flight league Ligue 1 has celebrated Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi in a social media post.

The league shared a graphic featuring the Warriors midfielder with superstars Neymar and Lionel Messi accompanied by the caption: “Flashback Friday: Marshall Munetsi edition 🇿🇼”

This is not the first time Ligue 1 has highlighted the Zimbabwean, having previously described him as “the man of the moment” during his strong run of form earlier this year.

Munetsi put on an impressive loan spell at Paris FC during the 2025/26 season, where he scored four goals in 15 Ligue 1 appearances before returning to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
