Zimbabwe international Andy Rinomhota will wear the No. 4 shirt for the 2026/27 season after Reading F.C. confirmed their squad numbers ahead of the new campaign.

The new squad number comes after the Warriors midfielder extended his stay with the League One club earlier this summer, with Rinomhota expected to play an important role under manager Leam Richardson during the upcoming season.

Andy Rinomhota wore the No. 18 shirt during the 2025/26 season after rejoining Reading. For the 2026/27 campaign, the club has confirmed he has switched to the No. 4 shirt.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a strong pre-season and has been tipped to play a key role in Richardson’s midfield as Reading prepare for the start of the 2026/27 League One season.
