Zimbabwe Warriors defender Munashe Garananga has emerged as a transfer target for Danish Superliga side Lyngby, with talks reportedly underway over a possible move from FC Copenhagen.
According to Danish publication Tipsbladet, Lyngby have opened discussions with FC Copenhagen, Garananga and his representatives over a potential deal for the 25-year-old centre-back.
The report indicates that a loan move is being discussed, either until January or for the entire season.
Garananga returned to Copenhagen in the summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, where he made just two appearances before suffering an injury.
The Warriors defender has already made three appearances for Copenhagen this season, but his future at the club remains uncertain as Lyngby look to strengthen their defence.
Garananga joined Copenhagen from Belgian side KV Mechelen in 2024 and remains under contract with the Danish giants until 2028.
The latest development comes after Garananga was previously linked with a move to Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, who were reportedly interested in signing him from Copenhagen.
