FC Platinum are after the services of Dynamos defender Peace Makaha and six other players as they seek to bolster their squad for the CAF Champions League.

The deadline for the registration of players is mid this month, and Pure Platinum Play have put Makaha, Chicken Inn midfielder Clement Matawu, John Zhuwawu of Caps United, Ngezi Platinum captain Liberty Chakoroma, Triangle striker Lameck Nhamo and unattached former Highlanders striker Prince Dube on their wish list.

Club spokesperson Chido Chizondo confirmed the interest in Makaha.

“We haven’t signed anyone at the moment, but it’s true that we are interested in those players. It’s just a wish list because nothing tangible has happened. The coach is interested in those players, but we haven’t yet agreed on anything with anyone,” said Chizondo.

The CAF Champions League preliminary stage starts next month.
