Ngezi Platinum forward Tichaona Mabvura is reportedly in South Africa on trial at Ajax Cape Town.

The player is on a 10 day trail stint at the ABSA Premiership side. The opportunity came after Ajax sent its talent scouts in August and Mabvura was one of their targets.

According to Newsday, the former Dynamos player left the country yesterday and is happy with opportunity.

“It’s a good opportunity and all I can say is that I will grab it with both hands. I am happy that there are other bigger teams out there who appreciate my contribution to the cause of my team,” Mabvura said.

Mabvura’s contract with Ngezi will expire at the end of the year.

Other local players who are reported to be on Ajax radar are Ocean Mushure and Cameroonian striker Christian Ntouba.
