Zimbabwean international Donald Ngoma struck his 12th goal of the season in the Tanzanian Premier League at the weekend.
Ngoma who has been a revelation for Tanzanian giants Young African Sports Club (Yanga) since his move from FC Platinum scored as they drew 2-2 with Azam.
Ngoma scored Yanga’s second goal of the game just before the halftime break but his side conceded late in the game to share the points.
Ngoma is 3rd on the league top scorer’s list with Simba SC’s Hamisi Kiiza leading the charts with 16 goals. The draw saw Yanga slip to second a point behind Simba SC who have former Dynamos midfielder Justice Majabvi in their books.
Ngoma’s form is likely to give Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa even more options upfront with a number of strikers already on top form ahead of the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
