Swedish based Zimbabwean international Tinotenda Kadewere finished the season on a high when he scored and provided two assists as Djurgarden beat GIF Sundsvall 5-2.
Kadewere who scored a beautiful goal last week made the most of starting place on Sunday wrapping up the season in style.
Kadewere started upfront with Kenyan international Michael Olunga and the two players combined well with Kadewere setting up Olunga to score Djurgarden’s equaliser in the 14th minute.
Kadewere followed up with another assist for Olunga in the 55th minute. Olunga then turned provider when he provided the assist for Kadewere to score the fourth for Djurgarden.
Kadewere fine form is good news for Callisto Pasuwa as the Warriors continue their AFCON 2017 preparations. Pasuwa is understood to have called up Kadewere for the international friendly against Tanzania this weekend at the National Sports Stadium along with a number of other foreign based players.
